Scarecrows Celebrate 20 Years with Music

_DSC4523 (2)Get ready to celebrate 20 years of the Meaford Scarecrow Invasion and Family Festival. We are going to celebrate with music! Join us on September 30th for the Family Festival and Parade starting at 6 pm. The Scarecrows will start invading in early September and we hear they are a jolly bunch with songs and instruments set to bring joy to all. Special events are planned throughout the year so visit this site often.

Physicians get a Scarecrow Welcome!

Visiting physicians had a Scarecrow Welcome at the Meaford Scarecrow Hospital. The Meaford Scarecrow Hospital was part of a scavenger hunt to introduce the physicians to Meaford. The Meaford Family Community Health Clinic organized the scavenger hunt. Enjoy the video!

Sam Celebrates the Invasion’s 20th Birthday

  There’s no telling how old he is in scarecrows years but Sam, Meaford’s iconic scarecrow, is looking as fresh and vibrant as he did when he was created over a decade ago and he is ready to celebrate the Scarecrow Invasion and Family Festival’s 20th birthday in style.  The much-loved, much-celebrated Sam is legendary.
